For many companies, discount codes are a valuable marketing tool to not only increase sales, but also build customer loyalty. Our SAREscript offers an intuitive and simple solution that allows you to generate unique discount codes and assign them to a selected base or specific email addresses. In the text below we show you how you can easily do this. <\/p>\n

STEP 1: Creating a feature<\/h2>\n

After logging into the system, one of the first steps is to create an additional feature in the base structure to which discount codes are to be assigned. This is a simple and intuitive process, a detailed description of which can be found here<\/a>. <\/p>\n

STEP 2: Defining the code<\/h2>\n

From the SAREscript<\/strong> menu, we select run<\/strong> and then click generate discount codes<\/strong>. Now, in front of us is the selection of a group with a database, which we specify as the data source to which the codes are to be assigned. <\/p>\n

STEP 3: Assigning promotional codes to the database<\/h2>\n

In the next step, in the newly displayed window, we define the details of our code. We specify the type of characters, i.e. digits and uppercase characters, digits and lowercase characters, uppercase characters, lowercase characters, or just digits. We enter the number of characters and the feature where we want our codes to go. After entering all the data, we click OK<\/strong>. The script we generated will automatically appear in the box. To run the script, we click execute script<\/strong> \u2192 OK<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Note: If you want to use a barcode (EAN13), remember that the maximum number of characters is 13.<\/p>\n

Use of discount code<\/h2>\n

Generating discount codes is only one side of the coin. The other, equally important, is their effective use. Below you will learn how to insert a generated code into a newsletter: <\/p>\n
