Widgets in web push notifications – creation and management

Widgets are small windows used to display requests for consent to receive push notifications. At SAREpush, we offer the ability to customize the appearance of these widgets for our clients.

Types of widgets

There are two types of widgets available in the system:

  • Ringtone: When this type is selected, a small ringtone appears in the selected corner of the screen. The subscriber can click on this bell to agree to receive push notifications.
  • Notification: this type of widget allows you to display a message with two buttons in the form of a pop-up window, where the subscriber can agree to receive notifications.

Each account can have one ringtone widget and one notification widget active. Widgets can have different statuses:

  • Not visible and requires publication: Widget is not visible on the website and requires publication.
  • Visible but changes need publication: The widget is visible on the website, but the latest changes are not yet visible and require publication.
  • Visible and up-to-date: The widget is visible on the website, and all changes are published.
