Create effective web push campaigns with SARE

Using push campaigns is an effective tool to get the most out of your subscriber base. Let’s consider the two basic types of push campaigns we offer to help you understand how to set them up and use them in SARE.

Audience and Automation: Two main types of push campaigns

At SARE, we offer two main categories of push campaigns. Each has unique features and applications to better reach your subscriber base.

  • Audience webpush: These campaigns target your entire subscriber base and are triggered immediately or can be scheduled for later. This is ideal when you want to communicate with your entire subscriber community at once.
  • Automation webpush: these campaigns are implemented for a user who has performed a specific action. For example, if a user abandoned a shopping cart or visited a specific page. This is an effective tool for personalizing the experience and increasing engagement.

Creating Audience webpush campaigns step by step

To start creating an Audience webpush campaign, go to Campaigns → Create new campaign. Here are the key elements to fill in during creation:

  • Campaign Name: Create a unique name for the campaign that will only be visible in the system.
  • The segment you are targeting with the campaign: You can target the campaign to all subscribers, selected segments, specific tags or based on geolocation data.
  • Notification: you can create a notification using the wizard, choose from existing templates or select a specific product if you have a product feed saved.
  • Limitation time: Specify the amount of time from the campaign launch that we will attempt to deliver a notification to the customer if they open a browser.
  • Shipping date: You can schedule a campaign immediately, later (by selecting a “forward” date), or on a recurring basis by specifying the days of the week and the hours of the campaign.

Create Automation webpush campaigns step by step

Creating an Automation webpush campaign is a similar process. Go to Campaigns → Create new campaign and complete the same key elements as for the Audience webpush campaign.

However, Automation webpush campaigns have an additional parameter to configure:

  • Campaign type: You can choose welcome notification, abandoned shopping cart, leave page, visit page or stay on page. Each of these options allows you to tailor your campaign to your specific user behavior.

Properly configured push campaigns can significantly increase user engagement and turn those engagements into real, measurable benefits for your business. Therefore, take the time to plan and configure these campaigns in the most effective way.
