SAREscript – a tool for scheduling distance-sensitive emails

How does SAREscript help you check the distance?

SAREscript provides a tool to schedule emails based on the distance of the recipients’ location. It is a solution that provides a perfect match of content to the local needs of the recipient, increasing the effectiveness of our communication. Attention! To use this tool, recipients’ postal codes must be included in the database.

Step 1: Planning the shipment

We start by scheduling our mailing. In the third step of this process, we check the option to use SAREscript. Then, to add a new, more advanced script, we click add new advanced script.

After doing so, a window will appear with a list of available functions. Here we select check distance. This step will allow us to determine how far from the recipient’s location the e-mailing should be sent.

Step 2: Determine recipients’ postal codes

In the newly opened window, we need to choose in which feature the postal codes of our recipients are specified. The next step is to set at what distance from a given postal code the e-mailing should be sent.

After entering these data, we press the OK button. The script will be automatically added to our frame. Then, to place it there, we click the Insert button.

It is important to test the script for correct operation. We can do this by clicking the test script button. However, let’s remember to select in advance the group for which the mailing will be carried out. By selecting a specific group of recipients, we make our actions even more targeted and effective.

With SAREscript, we can dramatically increase the effectiveness of our email messages by tailoring them to the specific needs of our recipients. We should always remember to carefully check the performance of the scripts we introduce to ensure that they work correctly.
