Booking messaging is a very useful tool that makes it easy to plan campaigns that target a specific audience. What’s more, you don’t have to specify a specific content version or subject line at the outset. This is especially advantageous when your account is used by many people and several different mailings are being carried out simultaneously. When you choose this type of mailing, you reserve a group of addresses, which guarantees that no other campaign will be directed to these recipients at the same time.
Shipping planning
Scheduling a shipment using reservations is simple and intuitive. In the first step of the process, you select “Reservation” as the shipping type. Fields such as “newsletter name” can be left blank for now. Just enter a sample subject, which you can modify later.
On the third step, you specify various shipping elements, such as:
- group of addresses,
- filters,
- tags,
- Google Analytics options,
- additional options,
- campaign selection.
Keep in mind that these features will not be available for modification once the shipment is scheduled. In the same step, you also set the shipping date, which can be changed later. After clicking the “Next” button, your shipment will be scheduled.
Shipping update
Once you have the content or subject line ready, you can update the mailing. To do this, you go to the “mailing scheduled” tab and click “modify.” In the first step of the mailing process, you specify the new content, subject line or sender (depending on what you want to change). Then, when you click “Next”, your mailing will be updated.
In order for the mailing to take place, you must activate it. To do this, you go to the “mailing scheduled” tab and select “booking activation”. This feature allows you not only to start the mailing, but also to modify the date of the mailing, which gives you additional flexibility in managing your campaigns.
