Our advanced SARE system offers the unique ability to customize your mailing. The same message can be sent with a different sender address and a different subject line, depending on the selected feature value of a specific address. This makes it easier to communicate the same message in a more personalized way. Below we detail how this works.
Creating a new feature
To begin with, we need to add an additional feature to the structure of our database. This feature will allow us to individually set the sender and subject of the message for different groups of recipients. For example, we add the “sender” and “subject_mail” features. These features can take different values, for example, “version a” and “version b”, which we will assign to specific addresses. This will create different versions of our message.
Determining the dynamic sender
Once the features are added, we can move on to setting up the dynamic sender. Anywhere in our creative, in the text section, we select the sarescript icon. In the configurator that opens, we can determine which sender name to assign to each value of the “sender” feature. For example, for “version a” the sender will be “Version A Consultant”, and for “version b” – “Version B consultant.” Once these settings are approved, the corresponding conditions appear in the script field.
Establishing a dynamic theme
As with the sender, we can set a dynamic message subject. In the configurator, we select “dynamic subject” from the right menu. For example, for “version a” in the attribute “subject_mail” the subject will be “This is version a for testing”. Here too, after entering all the assumptions, we click save. An icon appears in the text section where we inserted the script. If we want to modify the assumptions of the script, we can do it directly from here.
Support for addresses without assigned feature values
What about addresses that do not have any value assigned in the attribute “sender” or “subject_mail”? The SARE system provides a solution here. For such addresses, the default sender set in the SARE account will automatically be indicated when the message is sent. Similarly, if you do not set a value in the attribute “subject_mail”, the default subject, which you set in the general parameters for the creation, will be used.
