The SMS module in the SARE system allows you to easily send SMS messages to GSM numbers stored in the database. We present the steps that will allow you to use this module:
SMS account balance control
To check the available funds in your SMS account, go to the SMS module and select “New”. At the top of the page you will find information about the available balance of your account and possible debit. If your account balance and debit do not allow you to send, use the “Top up your account” option. You can do this by bank transfer or credit card.
SMS account recharge
SMS account recharge is possible by bank transfer or credit card. With a bank transfer, specify the amount of recharge in the form and download a pro-forma invoice for the transfer. If you want to use a credit card, fill out the form with your personal information, email address and recharge amount. Once the payment is credited, you will be able to start sending SMS messages.
Creating SMS content
You can create SMS content from scratch or load already sent messages from the archive. Enter the message content in the text field. You can also use personalization by adding features assigned to addresses in the database. To insert personalization, click “personalization” and select the appropriate feature from the list.
Single or recurring shipment
Choose the type of dispatch, i.e. one-time or recurring. For recurring dispatch, you can schedule messages to be sent on specific dates, such as monthly or weekly. Also, choose the sender of the message from among the previously registered names.
Testing the message
Before sending a message, you can test it by sending a test SMS. Enter the recipient’s GSM number in the enter GSM number field and check the “Send test SMS” box. You will receive information about your account balance and the cost associated with sending a test SMS. If the test message meets your expectations, click the “Next” button.
Confirmation and messaging
At the last stage you will see a summary of the shipment, including the current balance, the number of messages to be sent and the cost. Confirm the shipment by clicking “OK”.
