Optimize communications with SARE Tag tool and base segmentation

The marketing messages you send may contain a variety of content. Different offers, such as clothing for different genders, products from different brands, or offers in different price ranges. How do you find out what your audience is most interested in? The solution is to use tags in your newsletters. This tool will allow you to group your recipients by specific interests, allowing you to send even more personalized content. As a result, your messages will become more valuable to your audience.

Assigning tags for creations

When creating creatives, you have the option to add tags to links in two ways: when editing the creative and after uploading the creative. When editing, you can do this using the Drag&Drop Editor or the Standard Editor. With tags, you can then monitor how many times recipients have clicked on a link in the report details. The path to this information is: Reports→Details→Most Popular Links.

Assigning tags for shipments

Tags can also be assigned to entire shipments. If you are making shipments with a specific theme, such as a sale or a promotion, you can give them a corresponding tag. Such a step will allow you to report and filter your shipments in more detail later. You will do this at the third step of shipment planning or at the reports level. Shipping planning for tags

When scheduling a mailing, you can specify which users you want the message to go to. It is possible to use an advanced filter so that the message is sent only to those users who have clicked on a link with a specific tag within a certain period of time. On the third step of scheduling a mailing, run the advanced filter and then select the filter you are interested in from the mailing results. This way, the mailing will only go to those users in the selected group who have clicked on a link with a specific tag, such as “Knowledge Base”, within the last month.

Segmentation of the base

Email addresses associated with specific tags are worth placing in dedicated mailing groups. This will allow you to better tailor the content of subsequent mailings. You can do this manually by managing the addresses from the tag in the dispatch report. It is also possible to automate this process with a dedicated mechanism prepared by our IT department. Google Analytics Tags

In SARE you also have the option to use Google Analytics tags. They allow additional reporting of results directly in the Google Analytics dashboard. You can find detailed information on how to use this feature here.
